Terms & Conditions
Once you place your order, we will review it and put it through for processing. If we notice any missing information or anticipate any issues, we will get in touch with you to ask further questions. Otherwise the order should be delivered as soon as possible.
Your payment is taken as you place your order so you will always be charged at the rate advertised at the point of ordering. We usually raise prices every second year however if necessary we will adjust prices outside this schedule.
Cured meat is variable and sometimes the sausages we’ve advertised may not be in stock or suitable to send. If this is the case we’ll substitute a similar sausage to an equivalent monetary value. However, generally we'll be in touch prior to sending - just to confirm any changes will be okay with you.
We take great pride in the quality and condition of our meats and it should reach you in the best possible condition. When you receive your box, please open it right away and inspect the items. If you aren’t happy with what you find, please email or call us right away and we will do our best to put it right. We can always arrange a replacement order, or a refund, should the circumstances require.
Likewise if the box has been damaged during delivery, please call us as soon as possible and, if possible, email us pictures. Risk of damage or deterioration to the goods passes to you, as the buyer, on delivery so please contact us as soon as possible. No claim for damage or deterioration after delivery can be accepted unless we’re informed straight away. Nor can we accept any responsibility for quality deterioration due to the following delivery problems:
1. Incorrect addresses
2. Unopened parcels
3. Delayed deliveries due to weather problems.
4. Gifts to recipients who have gone away or are unable to receive parcels.
Crown & Queue Meats Ltd. retains all rights of ownership and possession of the goods until full payment has been received.
We won't ask you to return anything perishable but may for non perishable products, however if so we will arrange pick-up with you and our couriers. Refunds are processed on a per customer basis and require proof of issue in the form of photographs. We reserve the right not to issue a refund if you have eaten more than 75% of an item.
We use an overnight courier for delivery to most of the UK. To some parts of Scotland and offshore islands, delivery can take longer. We will contact you if need be to discuss timing if your order is to go outside the mainland.
We do our best to deliver as soon as possible but at busy times of the year delivery times can be extended.
If you would like a package delivered on a specific date - please indicate that in the notes during check out and we will do our best to accommodate you. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.
Please make sure that delivery address & postcode are correct as we can not be responsible for non delivery due to an incorrect address. Likewise in the event of extreme weather or other events out of our control (eg civil actions, delivery vehicle breakdown etc) we can not be responsible for any delivery delays.
It is best if someone is available to receive and sign for the delivery but we can arrange for the couriers to leave the parcel safely without a signature. If no one is home, the couriers will do this by default. Please anticipate that a gift recipient may have to go out unexpectedly or may not hear the doorbell and leave extra instructions succinctly describing a safe place for the parcel.
We accept payment online by Maestro, Solo, Electron, Visa, MasterCard and Delta, Paypal and Apple/Shop Pay. Your payment is processed via a fully authorised Payment Service which ensures that all your information remains totally confidential and completely encrypted. In fact we never see any of the card numbers ourselves!
Payment is taken as you place your order and if the payment does not authorise successfully, your order will not be successfully processed. Please check that you receive not only a confirmation of your order but also a confirmation of your payment by email. If you have not received one of these, your order may not have placed successfully.
Crown & Queue Meats Ltd. reserves the right not to accept or to cancel any order once accepted, without penalty. You too may cancel an order without penalty as long as we receive the notification a minimum of 24 hours after you place your order. Otherwise, we may have already shipped your order.
PRIVACY & YOUR INFORMATION
We retain details necessary for successful fulfilment of your order and do not use them for any other purpose. These include: name, address, telephone number and email address of sender, name, address, telephone number and email address of recipient. We do not sell addresses to any other companies. We will never cold call you for marketing purposes. Credit card numbers are not retained after payment has been received.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our Web Site.
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER.
